Hammari Kalamkari — Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy

At Hammari Kalamkari, every piece is handcrafted by skilled artisans. Small variations in weave, print or finish are not defects but signatures of true handwork — they make your item unique.


Returns & Refunds

  • We accept returns only for items that arrive defective or physically damaged.
  • To file a damage/defect claim you must provide a continuous, uncut video of the parcel being opened that clearly shows:
    1. The shipping label and parcel at the start of the video, and
    2. The item being unboxed in full.
  • Claims submitted without the unboxing video cannot be accepted.
  • Please raise any claim within 48 hours of delivery and include the required video and photos.
  • To initiate a return, contact us at support@hamaarikalamkari.com or WhatsApp +91-.
  • After approval we will either arrange a return pickup (where serviceable within India) or ask you to ship the item back to us.
  • Once we receive and inspect the returned item, refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.

Exchanges (Ready-Made Garments Only)

  • Size details for ready-made garments are listed on each product page — please check them before ordering.
  • If you have a size issue, contact us by email or WhatsApp within 48 hours of delivery. Requests after 48 hours will not be accepted.
  • A return shipping charge of ₹200 applies for size exchanges.
  • If return pickup is available in your area, we’ll schedule it; otherwise you will need to ship the item to us.
  • Items must be returned in perfect, unused condition with all original tags and packaging.
  • Exchanges depend on stock availability. If the same design/size is unavailable, we will offer an equal-value alternative or store credit.

Note: We do not accept exchanges for sarees, unstitched fabrics, or cut/altered items.


International Orders

  • We ship worldwide; international shipping fees are calculated at checkout.
  • Typical international delivery time is 10–12 business days after dispatch (may vary by destination and customs).
  • Customs duties, taxes or import fees (if any) are the customer’s responsibility and must be paid at delivery.
  • Returns or exchanges for international orders are accepted only for defective/damaged items. In such cases, the customer must ship the item back to India; refunds are processed after we receive and inspect the return.

Non-Returnable / Non-Exchangeable Items

  • Sarees, fabrics, or suit sets that have been cut, altered, tried on, or used.
  • Items purchased during sale/clearance.
  • Customized or made-to-order items.

Cancellations

  • Orders cannot be cancelled after they are placed. We process orders quickly to respect artisan timelines.
